Yep - still busy

Well my last post was a recap of how quickly March went by. Shall we do the same with the last 2 months then?! After holiday in March, I got called in to a company here in Windsor where they needed some PR help so that's what I've been doing for the past 2 months. Not every day, I still work with Renegade PR but this is two days a week and it has become a lot more then just two days a week. Being a control freak and also wanting to stay on top of things, I put in more time then just those two days but it's all worth it. The experience it gets me and the new contacts - it's all great. I'm helping out a video game company called 2K Games, and I'm helping out the ROE (Rest of Everywhere) territory, which is every country from Scandinavia to Middle East, to Russia, to South Africa to Greece. And some in between. After this stint, all I have to work is the US and then I have experience in working with pretty much every territory! Nice add on to my CV. :-)

Other than working all hours under the sun, we managed to escape home over Easter for some family fun. We met the two new additions in the family, Signe and Sonja. Two adorable little girls my sisters popped out within a week of each other. We also cleaned out the apartment in Stockholm. It was sad to see it go but we don't spend nearly enough time there to justify keeping it so now all my stuff is in a storage unit until we eventually buy a place in Sweden.

The big project of the house - we are finally seeing the light in the end of the tunnel!!!! Extension work begin next Wednesday, and in six week's time, we will have a brand new dining room, a new downstairs bathroom and a 5th bedroom/office. I am beyond excited that this is finally been given the go ahead and we can begin. We are also waiting on a fancy striped carpet for the stairs and the upstairs hallway and a new carpet for our master bedroom. After that, we are DONE. I can't believe it. But if I don't ever touch another paint brush or have to go to a DIY store - I will die a happy woman. I am done. I refuse to ever paint again.
