Busy, busy

March went by really fast and we're already in the middle of April! It's true what they say, the older you get the faster time goes by. I never used to believe that when I was young but I think I have to give in to the fact that it's true.

Well my sisters have been busy popping out two new little adorable girls and we are very excited to go home in a few weeks to see the new additions. We're a very proud Auntie and Uncle. Now Gary has someone on his same level with the Swedish as little Julia is now way ahead of him. :-)

We have also upped the renovations of the house, after losing all of our motivation and just feeling like the house eats up all the energy, we're now ready to start on our master bedroom. We've got builders coming in on the weekend to knock a wall out and then the fun job of painting starts. I don't think I ever want to paint again after this house is done. I hate it. I used to love it but now I hate it. Next house we move into will be done exactly the way we want it from the beginning!! We also had electricians here in the week to sort of lights and wiring and sockets, work that can't really be seen but it makes such a difference being able to turn the kitchen spotlights on and they actually stay on and do go all 80's disco on you.  And, more importantly, we have working lights in the bathroom - I can finally see what I'm doing infront of the mirror!!

Work is busy. I have started work at a company called 2K two days a week which now makes me an even more busy bunny. It's fun being back publishing side again and also doing agency work at the same time, and I get to experience working with the export territories, as in Russia, the Middle East, South Africa, Greece etc. And, most importantly, I get to work with Scandinavia too - although my written, professional Swedish isn't really up to scratch anylonger....!

So that's life at the moment - busy, crazy and exhausting. And exciting. :-)
